What is Dunaflat?
Dunaflat Apartments is a family-run company. We are specialised in renting only our own apartments in Budapest for short or long term stay. We don't rent apartment of third parties and so we don't have extra commission on the prices to pay. Our prices can fit every budget as we offer luxury apartments as well as 2 stars apartments. Our apartments are mainly located in Budapest City Centre. Only 2 apartments (Csango apartments) are located at 4 metro stops from the City Centre. Whatever your reason for travel is - business, relocation or vacation - we will do our best to satisfy your needs and make you feel at home.

Is the price shown per person or per apartment?
All the prices are always per apartment. The prices depends on the number of guests.

Do the prices include taxes?
Yes, all the prices include all taxes.

Do the prices includes towels and linen and cleaning service?
Yes, all the prices include towels, linen and cleaning at the end of the stay.

How do I get the keys of the apartment?
An assistant will wait for you at the apartment and will give you the keys and help you to make your stay as good as possible.

Can I smoke in the apartment?
No, all the apartments are non-smoke.

How often is the apartment cleaned?
The apartment is cleaned at the end of the stay. You will find the apartment cleaned, full of cleaned towels/linen for all the guests.

What time can I check-in?
The normal check-in time is 12:00 or onwards. If you have an earlier arrival, please let us know and we will see if we can accommodate you. In case of late check-in (that is after 23:00) we charge an extra fee of Euro 30.

What time do I have to leave?
The normal check out time is 10:00. If you would like to leave the apartment later, please let us know and we will do our best to help you.

How do I get to and from the airport?
There are taxis available at the airport (Zona Taxi for a fixed cost of about 25 Euro) as well as public transportation (bus to Deak Ter and then bus/metro/walk for a cost of about 5 euro or mini-bus directly to the apartment at the cost of about 10 euro). We can also pick you up at the airport for a cost of 25 Euro. We suggest Zona Taxi: the service is professional, safe and cheap.

How do I get to the apartment by car?
When making the reservation we will provide you with all details to reach the apartment.

How safe is Budapest?
Budapest is overall a safe city. We would however recommend all visitors to avoid all un-necessary risks.

Do I need a passport?
All guests are required to bring a passport to identify themselves and sign-in on arrival. The European citizens can enter the country with a simple personal ID (the passport is not necessary for them).

Where can I change money?
There are several Bureaus de Change in Budapest downtown. Good bureau de change are in Oktogon square. We suggest not to change at the airport. At the airport, we suggest to take money from the ATM machine. Also downtown, debit cards and credit cards are widely accepted by ATM banks.

What if I cancel?
If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to re-book the apartment. Late cancellations mean lost of revenues and the deposit is not subject to refund.

What happens if I break something?
Guests are responsible and will be charged the cost.
Can we park near the building?
Yes, close to our apartments, you will find a lot of private parking, as our apartments are located in the city centre of Budapest. The apartments located at 3 metro stops from city centre have a free covered parking inside the building.
What happens if I loose a key?
For security reasons we would need to change the locks and keys. Guests are fully responsible for the extra cost.
Do I need to clean the apartment?
Normal cleaning is included. If extra cleaning is needed, guest will be charged.

Will any taxes be added?
No taxes will be added. The prices quoted are all-inclusive.

How do I get in touch with a representative in case of emergencies?
When making the reservation we will provide you with all information on who to contact in case of emergencies.
